"I don't want to be an actress, when I grow up," says Spandan Chaturvedi

The actress reveals her experience of working in a Bollywood film and also talks about her future plans.

Child actress, Spandan Chaturvedi needs no introduction, where she made a roaring debut on the small screen with her role in Colors' Udaan as Chakor. Since then, Spandan has went on to do cameo roles in different shows. And now, after all this while, the little one is all set to make her mark on the big screen as well, as she will be debuting with the upcoming film, Naanu Ki Jaanu.

In a conversation with the actress, we asked her about her experience shooting the film and her future projects too.

How was the experience working in a film as opposed to TV?

As this is my debut film, I am very excited. The experience was great, I used to enjoy and chill with Abhay bhaiya (Abhay Deol) all the time. However, for me, the mediums do not matter and be it TV or films, it's the same.

What is your character and the film about?

My character is that of a little girl, who is mentally retarded and has her own shades. She will be the little sister to actress, Patralekhaa's character. The film is a horror comedy.

Will you like to do TV again or is working on films better?

I would like to continue working on films and TV as and when a role comes to me. If the character is good and interesting, it won't matter if it's television or films.

Would you like to continue being an actress when you grow up?

No, I don't want to be an actress when I grow up. I would like to explore other facets and choose a profession, when something interests me.

If spandan was from IF's favorite show ipk the article will surely have barun, sanaya etc tagged. But as its from udaan there will be nothing like that*uff* fed up with your partiality IF :-(
