"I am NOT dating anyone and I am HAPPILY single." - Additi Gupta

Actress Additi Gupta, who is best known for shows like Qubool Hai, Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil, Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil and most recently Ishqbaaaz, opens up about her personality, marriage and future plans.

Says Additi, "I am a fun loving person and also very experimental. I love experimenting. I'm confident to an extent yet confused. When it comes to facing the camera, I hold some confidence but get confused about silly things like my outfits! But overall, I'm good...I feel so! I'm a person you can rely on and I am a good listener too."

When we asked if problems in her professional life ever affected her personal life, Additi confessed, "I mostly mess up! If something goes wrong professionally, I sulk about it at home as I tend to bring my problems back home. Be it my partner or my parents, they can see me sulking. And also the other way round, when I am affected personally and I am not fine, people on the set can read it on my face. Having said that, I forget all my issues while I'm working as acting is my passion and I enjoy it."

The actress who is known to have aced all the roles that she has played so far adds, "When I am acting, I'm not Additi but the character that I'm playing. I'm very punctual, disciplined and concerned about my professional commitments."

Elaborating on her marriage plans, Additi says, "I don't feel like I have to start planning my marriage soon... But yes, my parents wish to see me settled. My relatives and friends keep asking my parents about my marriage plans and such questions are usually funny but do tend to get irritating over the time. As of now, I'm not dating anyone and I am enjoying my singlehood.

Like everyone, even I want to see myself grow. I am enjoying my success but I need more and I am really working hard towards it. I'm thankful to my fans that their love has actually added an identity to my name. It gives you peace and pleasure when you realise that your hard work has not gone unnoticed," she concludes.
