"I am a lazy writer" : Siddharth Arora

Apart from acting, the very talented actor Siddharth Arora, holds another talent that is - writing! Siddharth loves to write whenever he gets some time out of his busy schedule. We quizzed Siddharth to know more about his love for writing.

When asked him about his love for writing, Siddharth told us, "I started writing 3 years back and I write whenever I get time. Being an actor, I hardly get time to write during my free time on the sets. I used to write while on the sets of Mukti Bandhan. I am a lazy writer so I do not write quite often. I write whenever I get time during the night while playing soft music but I am looking forward to take my writing seriously in future."

Siddharth is currently writing a Novel. When asked him about the same, he adverts, "The novel which I am working on currently, is a story about a guy who meets different kind of girls from time to time in his life and how it affects his life and what he gets to learn. I have taken some inspiration to write this novel from my own life from whatever I have experienced so far. I have completed only around 20% of the novel so far and I have far more to go."

He further added, "In order to write well, I read a lot. I read newspapers and novels a lot as it inspires me to write. I am a big fan of Chetan Bhagat and I have read all his books. Sometimes, I do write poetry as well. Recently, I wrote a short poetry on the Damini gangrape case which shook the nation. I keep on writing and keep on posting them on social networking sites and seeing those, people don't believe that it has been written by me!"

When asked Siddharth about his future plans, he told us, "I want to complete my novel very soon and get it published within one to one and a half years."
