Recently ALT Balaji launched one of the most promising promos of its upcoming web series Apharan.

Tellybuzz got in touch with Ekta Kapoor to know more about the series, "Apharan is a tribute to '70s and the '80s. The movies of that period used to have a lot of masala. And to celebrate that we have made Apharan from a contemporary view. We have a superb female character. Also, there is cool feel to the show. Personally, I liked the show and this is one of my favorite show on the App."

When asked about the casting for the series Ekta promptly answered that "It is very easy to cast character when we have good scripts. It took us five minutes to say yes to the project. As soon as we finished the narration and we were on the floor. "

When asked about the promo she opined, "We are getting some seriously great review. Some people have told that there are too many abuses.
