PV Sindhu confesses Deepika Padukone to be the best actress for her Biopic!

While 2018 saw huge number of biopics released in Bollywood, the repercussion of this event have not waived off from the audience and 2019 instantly fell prey to this trend. Right after Akshay Kumar dazed off his audience with his decision to pick-up scripts based on real-life incidents, John Abraham and many actors did the same. And guess what? 

The films were a massive success!

The current year is half-way done and the audience has already indulged themselves with films like - URI, Mission Mangal, Batla House, Manikarnika- The Queen of Jhansi, Kesari and many more. Meanwhile, many biopics are still in the pipeline. Namely - Gunjan Saxena- Kargil Girl, Saand Ki Aankh, Chappapak, 83’, Saina Nehwal and more.

Deepika Padukone is already working on her upcoming films which mainly include biopics and, she has been demanded to star for another film which is again based on a true event. 

According to the reports in Hindustan Times, a biopic on Badminton ace PV Sindhu is currently in the works. And the latest developments suggest that Sindhu herself has expressed her desire to see Deepika Padukone play her role in the upcoming biopic. 

Sonu Sood recently announced that he had bagged the rights to make a biopic on the star player.

In an interview, the Badminton star said, "Would definitely want Deepika Padukone to play the character. She had played the game and is a good actor too. But then, the makers would take the final decision."

Deepika might be the best candidate as she herself was a professional Badminton champ. Now, only time will tell if Deepika would grant Sindhu’s wishes and if the star is willing to sign the biopic.

There are several rumours which hint at Akshay Kumar being roped as Sindhu’s coach Pullela Gopichand. However, Sood, in a previous interview revealed that he would take on the part of the young Badminton star’s coach in the film and it is expected to roll out by the end of 2019.
