Pushtiie Shakti aka Mahi Celebrates 10 Years of 'Mahi Way'

It is difficult to believe that a whole decade is passed by more so with the films and TV shows people have been posting about - of how a film or show arrived over 10 years ago.

On similar lines, one show that arrived on the small screen 10 years ago was Mahi Way - a product of Y Films' TV venture that starred actor  Pushtiie Shakti in lead role of Mahi Talwar.

Not only just ahead of its time but now a loved show amongst its viewers, the show completed 10 years recently.

"It does not feel like its been 10 years. The fans have actually made it impossible for me to feel like that. I still get messages saying that they want a second season. I feel very grateful for the love I still receive and the impact the show still creates when it is seen. I would love to do a second season. 'Mahi Way' after 10 years of what was going on then. I think it would be an interesting shift in the story and a lovely opportunity to show a grown up Mahi!" Shakti said.

"From here I would like to do different characters now. I have been getting calls for lovely negative and serious characters. Feels like someone is paying attention to what I have wanted for a long time . Now I can't wait for people to see a different side of me as a performer. It is like a second take for my career," she added.
