Producer Parag Sanghvi arrested by Mumbai police's Economic Offences Wing

Mumbai Police's Economic Offences Wing (EOW) went on to arrest Bollywood producer Parag Sanghavi in connection with a fraud case. A court sent Sanghvi to the custody of EOW till December 25, said Mumbai Police.

Meanwhile, in September this year, the Enforcement Directorate had conducted a raid at Sanghvi's Mumbai properties, including his office and club in a money laundering case.

Sanghvi has been a part of the industry for more than 15 years as a producer, financer and distributor. His films include Ab Tak Chappan 1 & 2, Vaastu Shastra, Darna Mana Hai, Darna Zaroori Hai, Golmaal-Fun Unlimited, Ek Hasina Thi, Naach and many more.

He backed films like Sarkar, Sarkar 3, The Attacks of 26/11 and Chef under his banner.
