As reported yesterday, a sexist article labeling Priyanka Chopra as a 'scam artist' went viral online. The article was not only sexist in nature but was also racist and a lot of nasty things about PeeCee were written in it.
Last night, Priyanka attended an event in Delhi where she was informed about the article and was asked for her views on the same. But, she chose to give no attention to this 'random thing' that's trying to disturb her happy place.
Reacting to the news, Priyanka said, "I don't even want to react or comment. It's not even in my stratosphere. I'm in a happy place at this moment. These kinds of random things can't disturb it."
The article was published in 'The New York Magazine's' 'TheCut' article, wherein the journalist called Priyanka, 36, a "global scam artist", who tricked young Jonas, 26, into a lifelong commitment when all he really wanted was a fling.
"Priyanka: She is a modern-day scam artist, in my opinion. That's right: Nicholas Jonas married into a fraudulent relationship against his will this past Saturday, December the 1st, and I'll tell you why I think so...," it read.
Soon after the article got circulated on social media, it garnered huge flak from some of the members of the Indian film fraternity. Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, Sonakshi Sinha, writer-producer Vinta Nanda, strongly expressed their disgust over the article and slammed the publication and it's writer.
Nick Jonas' brother Joe Jonas and his fiance Sophie Turner too slammed The Cut for running such a story that's outright disgusting.
