Priyanka Choudhary & Shiv Thakare deserved to win Bigg Boss 16 trophy more than MC Stan: Gautam Vig

And finally, after a successful run, Colors’ popular show ‘Bigg Boss 16’ has come to an end. The show had a glamorous grand finale which was attended by super stars from Bollywood, ex-contestants of the show and the family members of the finalists. For the first time in the history of Bigg Boss, the grand finale of the show was planned for more than five hours. Also, for the first time, all the ex-contestants of the show went inside to cheer their friends and play games.

The show had Shiv Thakare, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Mc Stan, Archana Gautam and Shalin Bhanot as the Top 5 contestants. While MC Stan won the trophy, it was quite unexpected for Priyanka to finish at third spot. Priyanka’s friends Ankit and Gautam were seen being highly disappointed with the result announcement.

In an exclusive chat with India Forums, Gautam Vig opened up on his thoughts on MC Stan being declared as the winner of the show. He said, “He is a good chap but I feel other two contestants deserved to win more than him. I was rooting for Priyanka and felt that she would win it because she won the hearts of the viewers and she created a lot of buzz. Even my family is quite upset with the results as they wanted Priyanka to win. I told them that I’ll pass on their message to her".

He added, “If not Priyanka, I wanted Shiv to win the show as he was very passionate towards the show and wanted to win very desperately. However, MC Stan won the trophy. I’m happy for him too but I feel two other contestants deserved it more than Stan”.
