Priyanka Chopra's Miss World 2000 win was 'rigged', says competitor Miss Barbados - Video

Priyanka Chopra is a global sensation who has proven her mettle with both her Bollywood and Hollywood projects. She started her journey in the industry after winning the title of Miss World in 2000. But now a claim made by her competitor, Leilani McConney, Miss Barbados suggests that the pagent was rigged in her favour.

Miss Barbados 2000, Leilani McConney, recently spoke out against pageant cheating on her YouTube channel. The beauty queen stated her opinion that Miss Texas was unfairly victorious as a result of prejudice on the part of sponsors and organisers, and she also related a similar incident from her time as Miss World. The previous pageant queen claimed, "I truly went through the same thing in Miss World."

The former beauty queen admits in the video that she believed Priyanka Chopra Jonas was given preference over the other contestants and was frequently made the exception. The Quantico star, according to the Barbados beauty, is 'not kind' and 'unlikeable' as a person.

She stated,

 "I was Miss Barbados and I went to Miss World, and the year I went, Miss India won," adding, "Mind you, Miss India had won the previous year. The sponsor was also Zee TV, an Indian cable station. They sponsored the entire Miss World. Our sashes had Zee TV, and then our country."

She also shared an incident and mentioned, 

"Priyanka Chopra was the only person who was allowed to keep her sarong on. Apparently, she was using some skin tone cream to even out her skin tone, and it was still splotchy. I'm not saying that it was a bleaching cream, it was a skin-tone cream. And it didn’t work, so she didn't want to remove her sarong. So, during the actual judgment, she's literally in a dress."

Talking about Pee Cee, she is currently in Mumbai and has been making public appearances for her events.
