Priyanka Chopra to co-produce her upcoming Bollywood movie?

Ever since Priyanka Chopra Jonas made her Hollywood debut with Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron starrer Baywatch and got hitched to American singer Nick Jonas, last year, fans have been eagerly waiting for her next Bollywood movie. After launching her own production house Purple Pebble Pictures with her latest release The Sky Is Pink, Priyanka is gearing up for her next. 

As per a recent report from Deccan Chronicle, PeeCee is all set to make a big splash in 2020. As quoted by Deccan Chronicle, a source revealed, “It’s a project that she will co-produce along with an Indian producer. Priyanka was keen to make this film with her dear friend and favourite director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. They spoke about it, but it didn’t work out. She is now in the advanced stages of negotiation with a couple of top names for her co-production. If the partnership doesn’t work out, she will do it alone.”

The source further added that she might team up with Karan Johar or Siddharth Roy Kapur for her dream project.

Well, we are surely excited to watch how Priyanka’s new project would pan out!

On the work front, her last Bollywood movie The Sky Is Pink though received a lot of praises all around the world didn’t earn much at the box office. Directed by Shonali Bose, the movie features Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf in lead roles. The movie follows the journey of Aditi and Niren who lose their daughter to pulmonary fibrosis. It is based on the real-life story of Aisha Chaudhary, who was a motivational speaker and an author of the book My Little Epiphanies, which was published a day before she passed away.

She will soon begin working on The White Tiger, a Netflix original alongside Rajkummar Rao and was recently roped in to dub the Hindi version of Disney’s Frozen 2 with her cousin Parineeti Chopra.
