Priyanka Chopra reveals Sridevi was her beauty icon, confesses her love for “giant, gorgeous eyes”

Late Bollywood actress Sridevi carved a niche for herself in the male-dominated industry with sheer hard work and her quirk to grasp impeccable characters. Her eyes and expressions continue to be admired by fans even after her sad demise. 

Now, speaking about the actress international star Priyanka Chopra confessed her love for Sridevi and revealed that she considers the late actor as hers.

In an interview with a US magazine, PeeCee said she was a fan of Sridevi's expressive acting and her beautiful eyes. 

“She had giant, gorgeous eyes and was such an expressive actor. She was very experimental with her fashion and her beauty. She changed her looks and tried new things with all of her movies," Priyanka Chopra told InStyle magazine. 

Sridevi breathed her last on February 24, 2018. The news of the actress's death came as a shock to the entire industry and Priyanka Chopra also posted a selfie with the late actress as she wrote, “Still can’t believe it.”

Earlier, The Sky is Pink actress also penned an article in remembrance of Sridevi after her death for Time magazine. Visiting the memories of the late actress, Priyanka revealed that she was ‘immobilised’ when she heard of Sridevi’s death. 

“She left us too soon. My last memory of her is a red-carpet moment last December. In the frenzy of flashbulbs and whirring cameras, she pulled me into a tight hug and spoke lovingly and excitedly about her two daughters, Janhvi and Khushi. Her family was her life. She left me feeling warm and fuzzy, and with a promise to meet again,” Priyanka wrote in the article.

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra was last seen in Netflix's The White Tiger and she will be next seen in Text For You. Directed by Jim Strouse, the film also stars Sam Heughan, Celine Dion, Russell Tovey and Omid Djalili.

She also has an Indian wedding comedy with Mindy Kaling and Matrix 4 with Keanu Reeves followed by a film based on the life of Maa Anand Sheela in her kitty.
