Recently, Priyanka Chopra got engaged to her boyfriends Nick Jonas on the occasion of her 36th birthday in London.

News of the couple exchanging promise rings spread like a wildfire and soon it was reported that the two will be taking their wedding vows in September this year. Following her marriage to Nick, PeeCee also walked out of her ambitious project with Salman Khan 'Bharat'.

This again was a shocker for everyone, while the actress is yet to comment on the same, yesterday at the trailer launch of 'Loveratri', Salman opened up about Priyanka backing off from the film.

He said, "I am really happy for her. Uss waqt hum ko ye pata chalta ke unhone wahan par koi bahut badi film sign ki hai aur hume thoda pehla pata chalta to hum waise bhi usko kabhi rokte nahi (If we had known then that she has signed a big Hollywood film, we wouldn't have stopped her from leaving the film). End moment pe pata chala, shooting ke 10 din pehle pata chala. Shooting shuru ho gayi thi meri, par unke schedule se 10 din pehle pata chala ki who picture chhodna chahti hai. (We go to know at the end moment, 10 days before the shooting that she wants to leave the film)".

"We said, of course, if you don't want to do it, don't do it. Uss waqt kuch alag reason diye gaye the hame (We were given another reason then..) Jo bhi reason hai, shaadi ka reason ho, ya picture ka reason ho, ya unko India main nahi kaam karna, ya mere saath nahi kaam karna, sirf Hollywood film aur TV show karna hai, wo unka reason hai. (Whatever her reason be, her wedding, Hollywood film or the fact that she does not want to work with me, it's her reason.) We are really happy and supportive about her doing good work", the actor added.

Yesterday, Priyanka was in Delhi attending an interactive session on 'Challenging the Status Quo & Forging New Paths' which was organised by FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO).

During her interaction session, the 36-year-old actress revealed many things. She spoke about her pet, Diana Chopra, about the times she gets nervous before auditioning for a role, and what she tells people who ask her about her English speaking skills.

Further, she also spoke about her personal life and said that it is not for public consumption. She said that she does not feel the need to explain her relationships with anyone.

Reports of their engagement started doing the rounds after People reported that Nick Jonas proposed to Priyanka on her birthday.

At the event, Priyanka Chopra said, "My personal life is not for public consumption. 90 per cent of my life is for public consumption but 10 per cent is for me. I am a girl and I have the right to keep that to myself. My family, friendship, my relationships are things I don't think I need to defend or explain it to anyone. I am not running for the Office, so I don't think I need to give explanations."
