Priyanka Chopra opts out as a brand ambassador of Nirav Modi Jewellers

Reportedly, Nirav Modi is accused of the fraud of Rs 11, 500 crores by the Punjab National Bank (PNB). According to the reports, two PNB bank officials, retired deputy manager Gokulnath Shetty and SWO Manoj Hanumant Kharat, were the first to be detected as working with Nirav Modi. The duo has been named in the FIR. About 10 more employees of the national bank have also come under the scanner of the enforcement directorate.

While, this scandal has been going on since January 30, 2018. However, at that time the fraud was to be of 280 crores but, yesterday evening we got to know the biggest scandal by him of not 280 crores but, 11, 500 crores which have left many people in shock. Well, people have also started comparing him with another fraudster Vijay Mallya who is accused of 9000 crores.

Punjab National Bank (PNB) said on Wednesday it had detected some "fraudulent and unauthorised" transactions worth about $1.77 billion (Rs 11,360 crore approx) at one of its branches in Mumbai.

Meanwhile talking about Priyanka Chopra who is ruling globally has signed a contract with the company in the last few months of 2017. Not just she but, the company had also made romantic advertisement where Siddharth Malhotra proposed with a Nirav Modi ring to Priyanka Chopra. Now that, the scandal is out the actress is said to have sued the company for defrauding her. The actress has accused Modi of not paying her for the recent ad campaign.

According to reports, Nirav Modi has written to the banks claiming that he would repay the loans that he has taken. It is being reported that he is ready to pay back Rs 5000 crore. This comes after the Enforcement Directorate filed a case against him for the Rs 11,360 crore fraud.

But, according to our close source straight from an employee of Nirav Modi, "Priyanka pulled her hands up as soon as she got to know about the scam when it was about 280 crores. However, the current situation for us is worse than that. We were too in shock when we got to know about this big scam and because of this currently, our job is at stake as we got to know that Nirav is thinking to sell one of his companies 'Firestar Diamonds' which is a part of 'Nirav Modi Jewellery'. And the company also has 3000 employees currently that includes more amount of workers. Many new employees were supposed to intern with us. Currently, even our company accounts have been sealed by the Government, we are even unsure about our salary."

Buzz is also that, Siddharth Malhotra was also supposed to shoot 2 more ad campaigns with Priyanka for this brand but, even he already thought to terminate his contract with the brand.
