Priyanka Chopra misses her dad on his birthday; shares an adorable throwback picture

Every daughter has an emotional connection with her father that is indescribable. A daughter will always be known as her father's little girl.  Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her father also shared a tight bond. 

One connection in her life, which she had with her late father, Ashok Chopra, who died in 2013 at the age of 64 following a protracted struggle with cancer, has always been openly spoken by Priyanka. On the 72nd birth anniversary of her late father, Priyanka Chopra shared a heartfelt message on Instagram.

Young Priyanka can be seen in the picture sitting in the snow with her father as the duo grin adoringly at one another. Her father was spotted sporting a jacket with black pants and a red cap, while baby Chopra wore several layers of sweater and a lovely cap.

Sharing the picture, Pee Cee wrote, “Happy birthday dad. We miss u. Everyday.” Reacting to the post, her husband Nick Jonas dropped a red heart emoji in the comments section, while Khushi Kapoor dropped white hearts.

Talking about her personal life, Priyanka and Nick welcomed a baby girl into the world this year via surrogate. Their daughter was named Maltie Marie Chopra Jonas. On January 22, Priyanka and Nick revealed their daughter's photo when she returned home after 100 days in the NICU along with the news on Instagram. “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much,” the penned in a joint  statement as they broke the news on Instagram.
