Priyanka Chopra is a Desi Girl at Heart! Reveals her Mangalsutra is her most Treasured Possession

Priyanka Chopra is undoubtedly one of the most influential actors of the industry, who has made her name shine in the showbiz and proved her mettle with her impeccable acting combined with her bold and confident self. The miss world turned super actress, delivered some of the finest films like Fashion, Aitraaz, Mary Kom, Barfi, Bajirao Mastaani to name a few. Revealing her most treasured possession, Priyanka said, “My mangalsutra. In an Indian wedding, it’s a necklace the groom ties around the bride’s neck. And a diamond ring my dad gave me.” She also added that she always carried gold coins, given to her by her dad, as her good luck charms. She also said how she was the happiest when she wore her two wedding dresses as it “was like a dream—they were exactly what I envisioned wearing on my wedding day.”

She also mentioned how super tight clothes and bandage dresses were her least favorite among clothes and how she ‘overuses’ her sunglasses the most. She also revealed that her all-time favorites, Audrey?Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe, are her style icons.

PeeCee stated that the sexiest thing a person could wear was her/his confidence, and the most powerful item in anyone’s wardrobe had to be shoes. She concluded the interview by saying that she would die with diamonds on. Now, that’s a typical Priyanka, right there!

After a gap of 3 years, Priyanka will be returning back to the silver screen with the Bollywood film, The Sky is Pink. Directed by Shonali Bose, the film also stars Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim in pivotal roles. The biographical film is based on the life of real-life hero Aisha Chaudhary and is slated to hit the theatres on 11 October 2019.

Recently, the actress also announced that she will be starring in the adaption of "The White Tiger" alongside Rajkummar Rao for Netflix.
