Preity Zinta contributes to PM Cares Fund with Kings XI Punjab in India's battle against COVID-19!

The nationwide battle has waged against the coronavirus pandemic and doctors are trying their best to overcome this horrifying situation. Several prominent personalities from different walks of life have come forth and donated their bit to aid those in need. Now, Preity Zinta has contributed to the PM-Cares fund in collaboration with her cricket team Kings XI Punjab.

Taking to her twitter handle the actress shared a picture which read “It's true that sports has the power to inspire and unite people in a way that little else does. As a sporting franchise, we are happy to play our part in India's battle against #COVID19, and contributed to the PM CARES Fund Together, we can win this battle! #SaddaPunjab” 

Issuing her statement with a caption on Instagram, she wrote: “All of us should join hands to win this war for humanity.Doing my bit by donating to the PM-CARES Fund & CM's Relief Fund.Let's come out of this stronger. @PMOIndia @narendramodi @CMOMaharashtra @OfficeofUT @AUThackeray”

Preity has joined the league of many celebrities donating graciously during this tough time that the nation is facing. Actor Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, her cricketer-husband Virat Kohli, Kartik Aaryan, Rajkummar Rao, Katrina Kaif, Varun Dhawan among others, have pledged their support to various relief funds aimed at combating the coronavirus pandemic in the country.
