Scam 1992 turned out to be quite a success within no time and without a starcast that was very starry, it also saw Pratik Gandhi rise to overnight fame. The show is based on the life of Hansal Mehta and it was only a matter of days that the show grabbed a lot of attention. 

Following the show, Pratik has been receiving a lot of love from the audience and has also become quite a favourite in no time. Recently, he spoke about the show and the success in an interview with mid-day and revealed how he knew while shooting for it that they were onto something big but never thought it would become so big. 

While appreciating the success, he also went on to highlight how the web has created a new avenue for actors such as him, and now, the audiences are only looking for actors to create different characters and not looking for stars. While he understands that it is the content that matters, he also revealed how he is being approached for mainstream films and web shows and added how he has learned through his experience that no one is interested in your struggles, they are only interested in your success.
