Pooja Bhatt Shares Kangana Ranaut’s Old Video After Twitter Fight Heats Up: ‘Guess Videos Lie Too?’

Pooja Bhatt and Kangana Ranaut have found themselves in a war of words on Twitter, that does not seem to end anytime soon. It all started when Pooja, Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter and Alia Bhatt’s sister took to social media to clear her stance around the ongoing accusations and trolling targeting her family.

Pooja opened up about the accusations of supporting Nepotism in Bollywood and went on to recall the time when the Bhatts were targeted for only working with newcomers and not chasing stars. She also mentioned that Kangana Ranaut was launched by Bhatt productions in her debut film Gangster.

In no time, Kangana Ranaut’s team responded to Pooja Bhatt’s tweet with a smashing reply and asserted that the actress had a choice between two films during her debut but went ahead with Gangster. Kangana’s team also questioned Mahesh Bhatt’s involvement in late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s relationship with Rhea Chakraborty.

Now, reacting to Kangana’s tweets, Pooja has yet again responded, but this time with a video. Sharing a link of an article talking about her war with Kangana, she wrote on Twitter: “Guess videos lie too? Upside-down face Besides, it takes two to battle. I leave the denials & accusations to more evolved souls. I rather put forth facts! 

Pooja also shared a video link that traces back to one of the award functions wherein Kangana can be seen thanking Mahesh Bhatt, Mukesh Bhatt and Anurag Basu for launching her in Gangster.

Earlier, Pooja had tweeted: “As for Kangana Ranaut-She is a great talent,if not she wouldn’t have been launched by Vishesh films in “Gangster”.Yes Anurag Basu discovered her,but Vishesh Films backed his vision & invested in the film. No small feat. Here’s wishing her the very best in all her endeavours.”

One of her many tweets read: “Toh yeh ‘Nepotism’ shabd se kissi aur Ko zalil karne ki koshish karo doston (Then try to humiliate someone else with these words friends). The people who have found their way into the movies through the springboard we provided over the decades know what we stand for. And if they have forgotten, It’s their tragedy. Not ours. Have a great day.”

Kangana’s team had then responded by stating that the actress had two choices while choosing her debut film, one Gangster and the other one named 'Pokiri', alongside Mahesh Babu. However, she went ahead with Gangster as she had already started shooting for the film. In a series of tweets, the actress’ team also questioned why Pooja Bhatt’s father (Mahesh Bhatt) was involved in Sushant Singh Rajput and Rhea Chakraborty’s relationship.

"Dear Pooja Bhatt, Anurag Basu had keen eyes to spot Kangana’s talent, everyone knows Mukesh Bhatt does not like to pay artists, to get talented people for free is a favour many studios do on themselves but that doesn’t give your father a license to throw chappals at her.....call her mad and humiliate her."

"He also announced her "tragic end", Also why was he so invested in Sushant Singh Rajput's and Rhea’s relationship? Why did he announce his end too, some of the questions you must ask him."

"For your info Pooja Bhatt Kangana had also auditioned for Pokiri, alongside Gangster & got selected for that as well. Pokiri went on to become an all time blockbuster, so your thinking that because of Gangster she is who she is, is totally not working. Water finds it’s level."
