The biopic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already gained many eyeballs since the day of it's inception. It's release was however postponed as the Lok Sabha elections for 2019 were due in May. The Election commission ordered the movie to release only after the results of the elections.
Today on the 23rd of May the results are being declared and a green flag has been given to PM Modi's biopic to release. Just a day before the results, the lead actor Vivek Oberoi who will essay the role of PM Modi, has received death threats.
As per ANI, Vivek received a threat to his life due to the release of his upcoming film, PM Narendra Modi. After this, Vivek Oberoi has received protection from the Mumbai Police. While it is still not clear as to who is posing these threats, there is a possibility that the naxalites might be the ones responsible.
Vivek Oberoi has been promoting the movie since past few days and with now just a day left for the release, police protection is given to Mr. Oberoi. Recently, Vivek was subjected to major flak as he posted a distasteful comment on Aishwarya Rai's meme and shared it on his Twitter account online. Not only the netizens but the film industry too was irked with his remarks.
