Playing the positive shade of Jagtap is challenging as well as interesting: Siddharth Bodke of 'GHKKPM'

Star Plus show ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ is riding high on major drama. The show took a leap and post that the show has taken an interesting turn. Sai and Virat are separated, Pakhi is married to Virat while Sai gave birth to a baby girl named Savi and has been staying in Kankavli village. Jagtap bailed out of the jail and has now become a positive character.

India Forums got in touch with actor Siddharth Bodke who plays the character of Jagtap in the show and asked him about his thoughts on learning about his character graph.

Siddharth said, “So, when I get to know that Jagtap will turn into a positive character, I was excited. Because until now, I had explored different level of negativity and dark side of the character and now after returning from jail, Jagtap is a changed man. I really liked the fact that I get to explore a different side of the same character and it left intrigued and excited.”

The transition of Jagtap from negative to positive was quite quick, in terms of performance and I’m loving every bit of it. It is surely challenging as when you sign up for a character, you set a mentality of the character and he responds to situations accordingly. Until now, Jagtap has been negative and has been reacting of the situation accordingly but with his change of hearts, it’s become very interesting the way Jagtap reacts to the circumstances.

To conclude, Siddharth stated, “Also, a new flavor in the form of Savi has been added. Jagtap bonds really well with Savi and also his equation with Sai has changed. And to play the dynamic emotions subtly is what is challenging as well as interesting. I absolutely loved playing the negative shade of Jagtap and I’m equally liking the positive change in him”.
