After crossing 5 million views on it's trailer, National Award winning filmmaker Vinod Kapri's upcoming film Pihu is testimony to the fact that uniqueness always gets it's due recognition. This film is set to release on November 16, and there are talks about the makers sending it  for the Guinness Book of World Records.

Pihu directed by Vinod Kapri, is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur under their banners RSVP and Roy Kapur Films respectively.

Pihu is a one-of-a-kind film in every aspect as it is the only film to have just one character in it throughout, played by a 2 year old child. The producers are in talks with the Guinness Book and have begun the procedure to enter this spectacular film feat in the records.

Director Vinod Kapri said, "Honestly, I cannot believe that Pihu is being sent for the Guinness Book of World Records. This thought never came to my mind while making Pihu and capturing the innocence of the little girl. This film is really close to my heart and I am really excited to share the film with the audiences... making it to the Guinness book will be a really great achievement for me as a filmmaker in trying to push the boundaries of cinema."

The film has travelled across various film festivals and has garnered amazing reviews. Pihu was officially selected for prestigious international film festivals which include Vancouver, Palmsprings, Iran, Morocco and Germany. The film went on to win "Best Film" at Morocco. It was also the opening film at India's largest Festival - International Film Festival of India, Goa (2017) where it received rave reviews.

Ronnie and Siddharth who are known to have backed path-breaking and unconventional cinema like - Dev D, A Wednesday, Rang De Basanti and Barfii - in their first innings together at UTV, seem to have picked up where they left off from. RSVP and Roy Kapur Films believe in presenting content-driven films and are focused on delivering films backed by power packed performances by talented actors and directors. Also, Shonali bose' tentatively titled Sky is Pink and Saare Jahan se Accha are their upcoming projects.
