Pearl V Puri denied bail in alleged rape case, next hearing scheduled

Television actor Pearl V Puri was arrested on June 4 by the Mumbai Police under the POCSO act post an FIR filed against him. As per the FIR, the actor has been alleged to sexually assaulting a minor. After his bail was denied on June 4, he was then sent to the judicial court in order to get bail. 

However, reports in SpotboyE have it that the actor has been denied bail and his next hearing has been scheduled for June 15. Post his arrest, the likes of Ekta Kapoor, Karishma Tanna, Krystle Dsouza, Nia Sharma, Divya Khosla Kumar, among many others, came out in support of him as they took to social media. In fact, Ekta as well as Divya have also shared detailed posts on social media to prove Pearl's innocence.

While Ekta has revealed via an audio conversation that the complaint is a result of maritial discord between the mother of the minor and the father and Ekta was seen urging her to come out and speak up on the same. It was only yesterday that the victim's father also issued a statement regarding the case stating that his complaint is independent of his marital differnece.
