Pawandeep Rajan on how it is difficult to sustain success after winning a reality show

In recent times, not many reality show  have turned out to be as hugely successful as Indian Idol 12 was. Not only did the singing reality show last the longest time a season of a singing show has lasted but the show even went on to attain immense popularity for its winner, runners-up and other contestant as well.

Pawandeep Rajan was undoubtedly one of the most popular names in the show, who went on to win it. Post that, the singer is now set to have another innings and this time, he will be donning the role of a captain in Superstar Singh Season 2.

When the singer was asked about the past Indian Idol singers and sustaining popularity, he mentioned that he agrees that it is difficult to sustain success one gets on this platform. He gave an example of how many singers in the past have won the show but moved on to do other things. He also mentioned that it is difficult to digest the fame and name one has achieved after so much hard work.

When asked about him dating fellow contestant, Arunita Kanjilal, he refuted the same as he said that she is very young and she has a lot to learn in her life before they think of being in a relationship. They are just close friends. He also mentioned that as of now, he is just focusing on his career and he is in a relationship with his music and nothing else.

Finally, concluding on Superstar Singer 2, he said that it is a huge responsibility and they are trying their best. The rest will follow.
