Pavitra Punia on three weeks of bed rest after she injures her foot

We know how injuries are a part and parcel of an actor's life but only at times, some of them turn out to be rather difficult for them which further turn out to be taking a forced hiatus. Actor Pavitra Punia has become the latest addition to this list where she suffered a mishap while shifting homes. While she was setting up her living room, the heavy glass top of a center-table fell on her feet.

Talking about it with ETimes TV, Punia said, “The glass top was so heavy that the moment it slipped from my hands and fell on my left foot, I knew it was not just normal pain. By the evening, the foot began swelling up and I could barely walk. I went for an X-ray a day later and was diagnosed with severe ligament damage. I have been advised bed rest for three weeks.”

While she has been advised to rest, she has to fly to her hometown in Delhi for a shoot on 20th October 2021 and her beau, Eijaz Khan will also be out of Mumbai for a shoot. Talking about it, she said, “That’s a prior commitment, which I can’t cancel. Also, Eijaz won’t be in town from October 20. I felt it would be better if I was with my family so that my mother can take care of me. It’s a matter of my leg and I don’t want to take a chance. I plan to spend 10 days with them and later hope to celebrate Diwali with them, too.”

We hope the actor is able to recover from the injury at the soonest and gets back rolling soon.
