Patralekhaa slams BODY SHAMERS trolling her for weight gain post pregnancy, "I haven't eaten a mountain"

Actress and producer Patralekhaa is not holding back. After her recent appearance at the screening of Toaster, the spotlight quickly shifted from her work to her appearance, triggering a wave of commentary that crossed the line.

The actor, who welcomed her first child with Rajkummar Rao in November 2025, found herself at the receiving end of insensitive remarks about her post pregnancy body. What followed was a sharp and necessary response that is now resonating widely.

“Pap pages! What’s happened to me!? is that I have just given birth! Yes I have gained the weight, which seems like an unnatural phenomenon to you all. I have not sat and eaten a mountain, I just delivered a baby and produced two films simultaneously which are not easy jobs," she wrote.

“If I could, I would not be this way. But that’s how my body has reacted to pregnancy. For God’s sake please learn to be a little kind," she added.

Her words cut through the noise, calling out the lack of empathy while also highlighting the physical and emotional realities of motherhood.

Balancing Motherhood And Work

Beyond the controversy, Patralekhaa continues to stay busy on the professional front. She was last seen in Phule, where she portrayed Savitribai Phule and earned strong critical appreciation along with several awards.

She is also building her space as a producer, with Toaster marking a significant step. The film, featuring Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra, has been receiving a positive response since its release.

On the personal front, Patralekhaa and Rajkummar Rao, who got married in November 2021, welcomed their daughter in 2025 and later revealed her name as Parvati Paul Rao.
