Patiala Babes fame Paridhi Sharma in Zee5’s short film Meethi Eid!

The talented actress Paridhi Sharma who is currently seen playing lead in Sony TV’s popular show Patiala Babes, actually started her acting career with Star Plus shows Tere Mere Sapne and Ruk Jana Nahin, but rose to fame with Zee TV’s historical drama Jodha Akbar where she played Jodha Bai opposite Rajat Tokas who essayed the role of Mughal emperor Akbar. The actress was immensely loved by audience for her portrayal of Jodha and the show was a huge success. The actress got married after that and was away from the screen for around three years, only to return back last year with Patiala Babes.

Apart from shooting for the hit show, Paridhi has recently shot for Zee5’s short film ‘Meethi Eid’. We contacted Paridhi regarding the film and speaking about it she shared, “Yes, I have shot for a beautiful short film named Meethi Eid. As I had already done a hit show with Zee TV, they had a certain inclination towards me so they called me for the role in this film. They wanted me to play the character. When I heard the story, I found t very cute and fascinating so I took up the role.”

Speaking about the story of the film Paridhi said, “The story of the film imparts the value of helping others and celebrating the spirit of humanity.”
