Parth Samthaan to make his Bollywood debut with Alia Bhatt with THIS film

Television’s chocolate boy Parth Samthaan earned millions of fans with his popular daily soap Kausautii Zindagi Kay. His fans were in for a treat when the actor revealed in an interview that he has signed a film.

Soon there were reports that Parth will be making his Bollywood debut opposite Alia Bhatt in the film Gangubai Kathiawadi. But the truth is that Parth is not doing the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film.

The good news remains that Parth will be doing a film with Alia Bhatt, not in Gangubai Kathiawadi but Resul Pookutty's Piharwa.

A report in Bollywood Hungama quotes a source as saying that Parth has already given his nod for the film.

Parth is definitely doing a film with Alia but it is not Gangubai Kathiawadi. Shantanu Maheshwari stars in the SLB directorial. But, Parth has signed Resul Pookutty's Piharwa that also stars Alia. The film is based on the life story of martyr Harbhajan Singh and has the India-China war as its backdrop. The movie will have a romantic angle around Alia and Parth's characters and will be set in two Eras.

The source adds that the shooting was supposed to begin by December but stands postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown. 

Reportedly, Alia will first wrap up her pending projects including Gangubai Kathiawadi, Brahmastra and RRR. Resul Pookutty has been in touch with the actor’s team to lock her dates  and Piharwa will definitely go on floors next year. 

Meanwhile, Parth will be shooting for a webseries and is also in talks for another show.
