Parineeti: ‘Shit Happens’, after she Injures Neck on Saina Nehwal biopic

Parineeti Chopra is currently gearing up for her upcoming sports biopic- the biopic on Olympian and badminton star Saina Nehwal. The actress is leaving no stone unturned in prepping well to mould into her character. However, amidst the vigorous shooting and training, she has injured herself.

Pari has injured her neck while shooting for the Saina Nehwal biopic. She even shared a picture on her Instagram and wrote, “Dude. Me and the entire team of Saina have been taking so much care that I shouldn’t get an injury, but shit happens. Will rest it as much as I can before I can soon start playing badminton again. #SainaNehwalBiopic.”

As soon as she shared the picture of her injury, music composer and singer Amaal Malik posted a long comment stating that he had warned her against such injuries and also lauds Parineeti for her hard work put into the film. “I told you don’t push it. So jaa abhi 5 6 din, you’ll be up and roaring in no time. You and the entire team of #Saina has put their life into this film. You’ve stepped in and saved the film & trust me !! The entire genetation will witness magic in every scene. The tears, the blood & sweat , will not go in vain. Chalo Pari, Time To Be Sherni,” he wrote in a comment.

On Friday, Parineeti had posted a picture with Saina revealing that only a month left to wrap up the biopic of the ace badminton player. “30 more days to be her ... and live her!! #SainaNehwalBiopic @nehwalsaina,” she wrote alongside the picture.

The biopic of Saina Nehwal starring Parineeti Chopra, directed by Amole Gupte is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar and is slated to release in 2020.
