Parineeti Chopra shares a special video as Kesari marks 4 years today

Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra on Tuesday celebrated four years of her critically acclaimed movie 'Kesari'. In the film the actress was seen alongside Akshay Kumar and their chemistry was loved by all. Today on the four year anniversary of the film, the Ishqzaade actress took to her social media account and shared a special post for the special film.

Taking to Instagram, Parineeti shared a video of her version of the 'Teri Mitti' song.

Sharing the video, she wrote, "This one was special.#4YearsOfKesari #TeriMitti." Parineeti also shared a couple of clips from the movie to celebrate this occasion on Insta stories.

 A song which still gives us goosebumps every time we hear it. The four-minute-forty-seven second is a loud cry of warriors who sacrificed their lives for their nation's soil. Penned by Manoj Muntashir, singer B Praak crooned the song, and the music was composed by Arko.  

Parineeti also shared a collage of her stills from 'Kesari' along with the song 'Ve Maahi' by Arijit Singh and re-shared a clip of the song 'Teri Mitti'. The latter song has been penned by Manoj Muntashir, crooned by singer B Praak, and composed by Arko. It is a tribute to the warriors who sacrificed their lives for their nation.

For the unversed, 'Kesari', directed by Anurag Singh, released on March 21, 2019, and was hailed for its musical background. It is a period drama based on the 1897 Battle of Saragarhi, where an army of 21 Sikhs fought against 10,000 Afghans. The film features Parineeti and Akshay Kumar in the lead roles.

On the work front, Parineeti has recently wrapped up the shoot of 'Chamkila', directed by Imtiaz Ali, in which she will be seen essaying the role of Amarjot Kaur. The film also stars actor Diljit Dosanjh in the lead role. It revolves around the lives of two famous Punjabi singers, Amarjot Kaur and Amar Singh Chamkila, who were assassinated on March 8, 1988, along with members of their musical band.
