Parineeti Chopra reveals about her weight gain

Weight gains and loss is no new in the entertainment industry. There are many inspiring fat to fit stories that have received immense accloades from everyone. One such recent incident discovered was that of Parineeti Chopra, who was missing from films for some time in the past. She was recently seen in Kesari. The actress appeared on a Voot original show hosted by Anaita Shroff Adajania and made some revelations including her two year sabbatical from films.

Parineeti took a break post Kill Dill's release in 2014 and eventually due to its box-office failure, Chopra initiated her fitness journey. In a candid chat with Anaita, Pari expressed, "I was too fat. I had started looking really bad."

Chopra revealed, "One day I saw a picture of myself and I got really scared. I looked at myself and I didn't recognise myself. This is not a 26-year-old girl. I have no right to look like this, especially if I am an actress. And at that time, one film of mine had flopped also. So it just kind of triggered it. I was like, 'Okay, this is the right time to take a break. I am not going to shoot anything for six months. I am going to work on myself and just recalibrate',"

As per Parineeti she was setting up her home back then and hence she thought it would be the correct time to take a break and focus on personal life.

Parineeti is currently preparing for the release of, Jabariya Jodi, opposite Sidharth Malhotra that is scheduled to hit the big screens on 12th of July.
