Parineeti Chopra is Out of Picture: Sania Mirza Reveals Parineeti Cannot do her Biopic

Tennis player Sania Mirza has a treat for all her fans as she reveals that the rights of her biopic film have been sold to producer Ronnie Screwvala, and the film is in pre-production.

Earlier, Sania had said that she would like her dear friend Parineeti Chopra to play her in the biopic, however, now that the actress is doing the Saina Nehwal biopic, Sania says Parineeti is out of the picture.

“Pari can’t do it because she’s doing Saina Nehwal now. So I guess she’s out of the picture” Sania Mirza told Pinkvilla. Parineeti has been vigorously prepping to play badminton player Saina Nehwal in a biopic.  “There are so many amazing actors and I’m sure they could do justice to my role” she added.

When asked which actress she would like to see step into her shoes for her biopic, she had four names. “Alia (Bhatt), Anushka (Sharma), Deepika (Padukone), Sara Ali Khan. A lot would depend on the script, there are so many things involved” Sania shared.

Sania also stated that she would be involved creatively in the film, and said: “I would like to inspire other girls to pick up tennis racquets or follow their dreams.”

On the work front, Sania Mirza has established herself as by far the most successful Indian women's tennis player ever and one of the highest-paid and most high-profile athletes in the country.
