In a shocking turn of events, the news of actor Paresh Rawal’s sad demise went viral on social media and he is known to be the latest victim of death hoaxes. 

Now, the actor has taken to his Twitter handle to rubbish reports that announced his death on May 14, 2021 at 7 am in the morning. The actor shut down the reports with an epic reply as he wrote, "Sorry for the misunderstanding as I slept past 7am ...!"

Over the years, Paresh Rawal has impressed his fans with his iconic films like Hera Pheri, Bhagam Bhag and many more. The actor is not only popular for his performance, but he has a strong influence over his fans through memes. 

Shortly after the actor made the statement through his social media, netizens burst out laughing which initiated a meme fest on the actor’s tweet.

Back in March, Paresh Rawal was diagnosed with the novel Coronavirus. The actor shared his diagnosis with a tweet as he wrote, "Unfortunately, I have tested positive for COVID-19. All those that have come in contact with me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested (sic)." The actor recovered from the virus soon.

Apart from Paresh Rawal, many celebrities have fallen prey to viral death hoaxes in recent days including Mukesh Khanna, Lucky Ali, Kirron Kher, Tabassum and others.
