Paresh Rawal praises Kapil Sharma for his comic timing; says he adds humour to things that aren’t funny

Paresh Rawal, known for his comic timing and style, has praised Kapil Sharma's comic abilities. He claims Kapil adds humour to things that aren't supposed to be funny. He has, however, slammed those who make fun of fat or thin people, calling it "ugly and disgusting." Kapil has also been chastised for making fun of people's weight on his show. 

Paresh was most recently seen in Sharmaji Namkeen, in which he played the role of Rishi Kapoor after his death. In addition, he will appear in Kartik Aaryan's Shehzada. 

Paresh praised Kapil's comedy style, talking to Etimes. The actor said writing has changed a lot, and one such example is Kapil Sharma's show. He saya how Kapil is a natural performer and has the ability to make people laugh even when the lines aren't funny. He simply delivers the line in a humorous manner, is what je feels.

Paresh, on the other hand, appeared dissatisfied with the comedy in movies these days. The actor claimed that there is no buffoonery these days in films, and another thing he doesn't like is people making fun of disabled characters. "Koi patla aadmi, koi mota aadmi... It's disgusting, and those who make a mockery of such topics should be punished," he said. He added, "There should be high comedy, and once the audience has stopped laughing, they should realise and relate to the truth. The actor said that, he feels comedy that shows you a direction is correct humour."

In his long film career, Paresh has played a number of comedic roles. Hera Pheri, Andaz Apna Apna, Chachi 420, Awara Paagal Deewana, Hungama, Hulchul, Garam Masala, Golmaal, Chup Chup Ke, Bhagam Bhag, Malamaal Weekly, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, and Welcome are among his best works.
