Paras on Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: It was a conscious decision that if I do TV, its going to be the best

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai continues to be one of the most watched TV shows and the generation leap that came along, sure managed to give it the much needed boost. Among those who joined the cast, includes the likes of Paras Priyadarshan, who plays the role of Neel in the show. India Forums reached out to him and asked him about taking up TV, something that resonates about the show, and what is the kind of work he wishes to do ahead.

About how he has been a part of popular web shows and if it was a conscious decision to pick up TV, he tells us,

''I have been a part of two web shows, so that was a great experience, especially Taj Mahal, because we shot in Lucknow, I was one of the leads and it was a highly enjoyable experience. Taking TV, like I said, it was a conscious decision that if I want to do TV it is going to be the best, and when Rajan sir approached me for this, and I had known him for a while, so when this show came along and he told me he was considering me for it, I wanted to grab that opportunity and make the best.''

On if the show resonates with him, he added,

''The show primarily focuses on human relationships and I think they are beautiful because they are complex, they are tough to understand, and that's what makes them so unique and so multi dimensional so its great to explore that on a daily basis, and it's interesting because the story keeps changing and you know, you keep getting to do new things.''

On what does he look forward to ahead, he told us,

''For now, I just want to five my best to the show for how ever long I have to wait for, and that's all that I have on my mind right now. Once I reach that, what I need to do ahead is something I'll think then, cross the bridge once you reach there, as they say.''
