Paras Chhabra: My rap song didn't really come out as I was inspired by someone

Nowadays, all the artists from the entertainment industry have branched out to do different things, and today no one's confined and dependent on doing just one thing for survival. Similarly, which is why we've got to witness the untapped sides of many actors who have come across as great musicians, rappers, and performing artists. And whenever there's a talk of talent and added creativity, how can we not talk about Paras Chhabra, who has recently ventured into the zone of rapping and has made his fans go gaga over a glimpse that he shared on his Instagram account.

When we asked him about how did the idea of making a rap song, sprang up in his mind. To which he said, "Me and my friend Kamz were just sitting and chilling. We were at the studio where our previous song was being mixed and he just very casually said that 'come let's sing' to which I said 'I am not a rapper or a singer. He asked me to sing anything so I just very casually sang 'Macchli Jal Ki Rani Hai' and we just went with the flow and it came out well. We gave the song name 'Like a Phiss' and the music of the song is given by Singer/Rapper Indeep Bakshi. I feel in today's times, people are mismatching lyrics and re-creating new songs by giving them a fresh approach so why not just do it, so I tried and we did it. It isn't a song, to be honest, it's a reel, but if we get a good response to this, we might create the whole song soon."

Furthermore, the actor who casually sang the song during his leisure time, says that he does not mind taking singing a bit more seriously. He adds, "You never know, if my own song goes hit. If it gives me the desired response then why not?"

Lastly, the actor who's constantly compared with Ranveer Singh for their uncanny resemblances on a number of occasions. Commenting on the same, Chhabra averred, "I like him (Ranveer Singh) I love the way he dresses and I love his attitude as well. But my rap song didn't really come out as I was inspired by someone. I just sang it casually, because nowadays everyone and anyone is coming out with some new unexpected talent so why not me. And if I take it seriously, I'll surely render a very nice song."

On the professional front, Chhabra has acted in a string of successful shows in the past. However, he got fame post his stint in the reality show Bigg Boss 13. He is currently seen doing a number of music videos and is currently ruling that space.
