When Irrfan Khan passed two years ago, he left an enormous void in the movie industry. On the second anniversary of his death, the legendary actor is remembered by a number of fans and entertainers who had the gratification of working with Irrfan. Pankaj Tripathi was one of them, and he memorised Irrfan as a huge inspiration to the actor.
Pankaj can be seen sitting on the grounds of Delhi's National School of Drama in a video posted by the Delhi Times. In the video, when speaking about Irrfan, he says,
"Irrfan Khan has influenced almost every actor of our era. Every time I'm asked to talk about him, I get emotional. I'm not able to say much about him."
The Mirzapur actor went on to say,
"He has greatly inspired everyone, whether it is for craft, intellect, on-screen and off-screen behaviour, or how to view acting. When he acted, we took notice of how he did it. He was deviating from the formula. I've only seen Irrfan's films."
The late actor died after a long battle with cancer. Irrfan Khan's son, Babil Khan, will soon be continuing to follow in his dad's legacy. With Netflix's Qala, he will make his breakthrough alongside Tripti Dimri. The star child is working extremely hard to live up to the hype. Babil had been interested in filmmaking before his father's death, but after his father's death, he decided to pursue acting. Babil also took to his Instagram account and penned a long heartwarming note for his father as he shared an old picture of Irrfan.
