Pandya Store's Kanwar Dhillon on fans wanting proper track for Shivi: Different stories have to be explored

Fans often go gaga over a particular on-screen couple, much like they appreciate certain characters. And well, they do wish to see more of their favourite couples and in a multi-starrer like Pandya Store, it only becomes relatively difficult to make sure that they see them enough. And well, it looks like fans of Kanwar Dhillon and Alice Kaushik aka Shiva and Raavi want to see a proper track for them.

Known as Shivi by beloved fans, they went on to make trends on social media wanting a proper track for the couple as well. When India Forums got in touch with Kanwar Dhillon about the same, he had more to add to it, and even to say to the fans. The actor quipped, ''Yes, I have been noticing certain trends going on that people want a proper track for Shivi, but it is okay, since we do have our own thing in the show, like everyone else and different stories and different tracks have to be explored to make a show with an ensemble cast run. I don't know why are people feeling so, but I am very much happy with whatever is happening and so is my co-actor.''

''Apart from that, people are about to get a lot of Shivi scenes and moments in the upcoming episodes, and this is a part and parcel of every show - there are tracks to be explored and there are different twists in the story and that's how a show works and that's great. I am enamoured by all the love that our fans give us and they want to see more of our moments, which itself proves how we are accepted with open arms and that's a good feeling. But sometimes, they also have to understand that there are other things that need to happen on the show as well,'' he concluded.

The show also features Shiny Doshi, Kinshuk Mahajan, Akshay Kharodia, Simran Budharup, among others in pivotal roles.

I like how he answered that and he's right about the show having an ensemble cast and exploration of various tracks, but makers need to improve their execution. They advertise about one thing and show a different thing altogether. Each and every track need proper execution and smooth transitioning. Makers need to work to that.
Love every member of the show especially kanwar and Alice. They are doing a fab job!

People need to understand that PS is not a love saga. It's a family show. There are no main leads as all the characters are important for the show.

KD is very sorted.His take is very neutral and right from an ensemble cast perspective. The viewers are dissapointed not because of less Shivi but because of poor handling of any sequences.None of the current story lines is making sense also we have an OG version to compare with. So the only saving grace which Pandya store has right now is Shivi thats why viewers want to see them more.If they make the story and execution better we as viewers are more than happy to see character graph and story of each character and all the 3 couples without any bias.

I agree with him. ShiVi are great but I want to know what other characters in a story are doing. I like Gaura’s equation, Suman-Dhara dynamics, Rishita’s shenanigans and Krish’s humour. Don’t want to make this show a typical love story and want it to revolve equally around the whole cast ❤️

I am happy to read this interview and the need to explore every track. But I want the writers to do it sensibly which is lacking at this point. PS has a great ensemble cast especially Kanwar Dhillon and Alice Kaushik are perfect as Shiva and Raavi.
