Pak actress urges UNICEF for removal of Priyanka Chopra; gets trolled instead!

For the past few weeks Priyanka Chopra has been making headlines when she made an appearance at the Beauty Con, Los Angeles. The actress talked on various topics like the age-gap between her and Nick; but what caught the attention of the audience was her reply to a Pakistani woman who accused her of ‘encouraging nuclear war in Pakistan’.

Priyanka had replied to the question saying, “War is not something I’m really fond of but I am patriotic, so I’m sorry if I hurt sentiments to people who do love me and have loved me. But I think that all of us have a, sort of, middle ground that we all have to walk. Just like you probably do as well. The way that you came at me right now... girl, don’t yell. We’re all here for love.”

Days after Priyanka opened up about her ‘Jai Hind’ tweet after the Balakot airstrike, Pakistani actress Armeena Khan and her fiance have written an open letter to UNICEF urging them to remove PeeCee as the peace ambassador. Taking to her official social media account, the Pakistani actress baselessly accused our desi girl of supporting the war through her tweets.

Sharing an online copy of her plea, Armeena wrote, “An open letter to #UNICEF #Kashmir #Priyanka #Pakistan”

Instead of receiving supports from her fans, Armeena received a lot of backlash. Netizens took Twitter to bash the Pakistani actress, accusing her of trying to grab the limelight by accusing an international star like Priyanka.
