Our PICKS of Web Shows to WATCH-OUT for in April

You know that the web scene is at its peak when you have a barrage of web shows coming in every month on various platforms and you have to nitpick the best ones to watch out for, isn't it?

That is certainly the case in this April where we have a large chunk of shows to look forward to. Hand-picking them, here are 6 web shows you can look forward to this month.

The third season of one of the most successful shows for the application was in the works for a while now and it is now available on ALT Balaji. The Ram Kapoor-Sakshi Tanwar starrer was one of the first shows to be a breakout success and is now the first show on the application to have a third season.

Controversial? propaganda? The upcoming web series on Eros Now is all of that and even more. One, however, cannot axe the sheer curiosity that it has garnered and just like the film PM Modi, this web show will also have a lot to look forward to.

The first part of Selection Day released on Netflix back in December 2018 and while the show did have some amazing moments, it felt rather incomplete. To complete the story of two young cricket prodigies and their struggle against their father as one dares to choose something else, the second part of Selection Day will release on Netflix this month.

Hotstar has decided to enter the big league of originals and already had some major shows rolling in, to begin with. Less than a week ago, the Roar Of The Lion docu-series starring Mahendra Singh Dhoni released and now, another star-studded original, Criminal Justice will be releasing on the application on 5th April 2019. Will this be the one to bring Hotstar strongly into the game of originals? We cannot wait to find out.

The wait is over. The beloved sibling trio of Chitvan, Chandan and Chanchal are back with yet another road trip for us to watch, love and get emotional for. Written and starring Sumeet Vyas along with Amol Parashar and Maanvi Gagroo, the second season will be available this time on both TVF Play and Sony Liv.

This one is purely for the Indian viewers out there. Because A: Game Of Thrones is a TV show but as it is only available on a digital platform for the Indian viewers to see it, we included it in this list. And B: The date mildly differs for Indian viewers as the actual premiere date of the final season of the show is 14th April, but because Indian Time is ahead, for us, it is going to release on Hotstar Premium in the early hours of 15th April 2019. We cannot wait to find out who will sit on the Iron Throne, more so Winter Is Here.
