Oscar Hopefuls: The Latest To Join The Buzz After BIFA

Vying for BIFA International Award, here's a list of the frontrunners.

After the Venice Film Festival, one of the most prestigious film festivals to take place is none other than BIFA (British Independent Film Festival). However, if there is one thing that makes this year's festival all the more interesting is that several Oscar hopefuls have been added to the mix of winning the BIFA International Award.

Cannes Palme d’Or and London Film Festival winners, as well as pictures from Pedro Almodovar, Robert Eggers and Noah Baumbach that have been submitted to compete for the Oscar for a Best international feature film,  are also in the mix. According to Variety, the list includes Bong Joon-Ho's Parasite, Alejandro Landes' Monos, Nora Fingscheidt’s System Crasher and Pedro Almodovar’s Pain and Glory,
