"Barood jab bachcha tha woh titlee pakadta thaWoh Ambiya bhi churata tha patangon par jhagadtha tha"

Paradox of emotions and strife of innocence is what childhood of Sikandar a 14 year old boy living in Kashmir; is full of. These eloquent lyrics penned down by the maverick Prasoon Joshi for BIG Pictures upcoming film 'Sikandar' written and directed by Piyush Jha, that releases on March 27th, manages to effortlessly convey the same.

Music video of this particular song was shot on 16th February, 2009. The video will feature Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, who has also composed the music for the music video. This evocative song is a promotional video for the film which beautifully sums up the feel and the message that the film wants to convey which Prasoon wrote after he was moved while watching the film.

"With this song we tried to tell two different stories, two extreme emotions that the child experiences in this film. Prasoon has done a great job, his observation of what a child does and his reactions to surrounding are just exceptional. He brings in these little details that any kid can relate to. And Shankar- Ehsaan-Loy has brought that joyful and sensitive childhood flavour to the song. I am sure after watching the song the audience will know what to expect from the film." –explained Sudhir Mishra, who is co-producing the film with BIG Pictures.

Says Mahesh Ramanathan, COO BIG Pictures, "The lyric of 'Doop Ke Sikkay' is one of Prasoon's most facile works ever. Combined with Shankar's super rendition, the song is emotional highlight and significantly elevates the entertainment quotient of the film"
