On husband Chiranjeevi Sarja’s death anniversary, Meghana Raj to visit memorial with son

One of the most loved actors of the Kannada film industry, Chiranjeevi Sarja passed away on June 7, 2020. His untimely demise had left his family members and fans in utter shock. It’s been a year to his unfortunate demise and his wife Meghana Raj has recalled the night before the actor passed away.

After dating for almost a decade, Chiranjeevi and actress Meghana had got engaged on October 22, 2017. They later tied the knot in 2018. Meghana Raj was 5 months pregnant when Chiranjeevi passed away , and was blessed with a baby boy.

Recalling the moments from the night of June 6, right before her husband Chiranjeevi passed away, Meghana told ETimes in an interview:

"The one thing that stays with me the most, is how on the night of June 6, 2020, I was fast asleep while Chiranjeevi was still awake. At some point during the night, I opened my eyes, only to see that he was just gazing at me and smiling. I asked him what he was thinking and he said ‘nothing’. The look on his face that night will remain with me forever and I think of it every single day.”

On the occasion of Chiranjeevi’s first death announcement, Meghana will be visiting his memoir with her son Jr Chiru.

A day ago, Meghana had shared an endearing picture with late Chiranjeevi in his memory.
