Nupur Alankar bereaved; younger sister passes away

Nupur Alankar's younger sister Jigyaasa passed away. She passed away due to a heart attack on March 9. She was 47. She is survived by her husband, Kaushal Agarwal, and eight-year-old twins Hiiyaa and Hriiday Agarwal.

Nupur, who has been a part of popular TV shows like Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan, and Tantra, quit the showbiz industry after 27 years and took sanyaas in February 2022.

When Times of India got in touch with Nupur after several attempts she confirmed the news and said that she needs sometime to heal and handle the situation as its the biggest setback of her life after her mother. 

Jigyaasa's husband Kaushal told that she was quite unwell for sometime and had many issues. She even complained of breathlessness recently following which they consulted a doctor and were advised to undergo some tests. Her liver was affected.
