No extension for ‘Barrister Babu’; the show to certainly go off-air

India Forums broke the news that Colors’ opular show ‘Barrister Babu’ is set to bid adieu to the fans. Ever since Vivan D’sena and Eisha Singh’s show ‘Sirf Tum’s trailer hit the television screens, there has been a speculation regarding which show will be axed. There was apparently a close call between Molkki and Barrister Babu. Later, channel decided that ‘Barrister Babu’ should be axed.

As and when the news came out, the fans of the show went berserk and went on a social media protest. They tweeted and asked the makers and the channel to re-think on their decision. Many fans demanded that the show should be put on a different time slot but should be given a chance to survive.

As per highly placed sources, the makers had a detailed meeting with the channel yesterday wherein various possibilities were discussed including the slot change option. However, things didn’t seem to materialize and the decision has been taken that the show will certainly go off-air from November onwards. Replacing the show will be Rashmi Sharma Telefilms’ show ‘Sirf Tum’.

‘Barrister Babu’ is produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions. The show has a stellar star cast including actors like Pravisht Mishra, Anchal Sahu, Rishi Khurana among others.

The current track of the show revolves around Anirudh going missing while Bondita is pregnant. Batuk has taken Anirudh’s place as he looks exactly like him. Meanwhile, Tapur and Somnath are coming closer.
