Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan reportedly got close during the shoot for their upcoming film, Aaj Kal. They were also rumoured to be dating but it seems mommy Amrita Singh wasn't happy about the whole episode and the duo went their separate ways.

Right after their alleged break-up, the rumours of bad-blood started making the rounds and the reports milled several controversies about the same. Its been a few months since they went their separate ways.

Kartik was reportedly avoiding to meet Sara as he seems really upset with her. In fact the Kedarnath actress neither wished Kartik on his birthday while the latter went to Bangkok to surprise her.

Kartik and Sara were even seen posing together during Karan Johar's Diwali bash but nothing post that.

On Sunday, things took a U-turn as Sara was seen riding shotgun along Kartik who drove a car on stage during one of the sequences Star Screen Awards 2019. Furthermore, She even danced on Pati Patni Aur Woh song 'Dheeme Dheeme' but almost tripped. Thanks to Kartik, he saved the actor from falling. Sara also danced on Simmba song 'Aankh Marey' with Shahid and Kartik.

Their chemistry showed no signs of bad blood and the fans were relieved to see them working together.

However, yesterday it was recently reported that Kartik refused to shoot patchwork with Sara for Imtiaz's film due to 'obvious' reasons. But nothing has been confirmed about it.
