Nikita Dutta: Maska is a sweet film about love and dreams which makes it very relatable "

Nikita speaks about her movie, Maska, her upcoming projects and how she is coping up with coronavirus outbreak in the country.

Actor Nikita Dutta who was last seen in Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh and MX Players series Aafat is back with her new film titled Maska on Netflix.

The actor is also gearing up for two new films where she will be seen playing the lead role opposite Abhishek Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi. Nikita Dutta speaks about her movie, Maska, her upcoming projects and how she is coping up with coronavirus outbreak in the country.

"Maska is a sweet film about love and dreams which makes it very relatable. It's a fun light-hearted film for people of all age groups. The story of Maska, in a nutshell, is about a boy realizing what he really wants to do in life. I play the character of Mallika who is struggling to be an award-winning actress, Mallika has left her home and her family to pursue her career."

Talking about working with renowned actors like Manisha Koirala, she says, "Manisha ma’am is an absolute delight to work with. Our first meeting with her was over the cast reading where she left us all awestruck with how well she was prepared with her dialogues". 

Nikita is also a part of Big Bull and Ezra and will be paired opposite Abhishek and Emraan respectively. 2020 seems to be a big year for her and she is all geared up for it. 

"I couldn’t be more grateful to be a part of these films. I love being a busy bee. It’s something I have always longed for. However, it’s too soon to say anything about having expectations"

Speaking of COVID19 and how she is spending her time, she says, "It’s a tough time for each one of us. Unfortunately, I am not with my family at the moment since I was supposed to start shooting for a project last week. There wasn’t much time for me to visit my parents after the lockdown was announced. So currently I am trying to cope up with a routine of cleaning, cooking, working out, reading and watching movies".
