Superstar Salman Khan kickstarts the shooting of his most awaited film, Dabangg 3 on Monday in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Nikhil Dwivedi, who is co-producing the film under his production house, Saffron Broadcast & Media along with Salman Khan Films took to social media to announce about the film and share his excitement on being a part of the hit franchise.

Calling it a proud moment, Nikhil posted a picture from the sets and captioned it: "Saffron Broadcast & Media Ltd is proud to produce this overwhelming Picture Franchise!"

Dabangg tells the story of Chulbul Pandey, a police officer who has his own way of dealing with corruption. Dabangg 3 is helmed by choreographer and filmmaker Prabhueeva but details related to the plot of the film are still under wraps.

Besides Salman Khan playing the titular role, Dabbang 3 also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaaz Khan and Mahie Gill in pivotal roles.
