Actress Nia Sharma recently opened up in an interview about how she was out of work after Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai went off air. She revealed that it got difficult for her to live alone and she did not have friends and was also not earning well. She played the role of Manvi Chaudhary in the show and after the show went off-air in 2013, and it was only in 2014 that she bagged Jamai Raja.
In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Nia revealed how she was all by herself when she came to the industry and after the show that made her went off-air, there was a gap of about a year and back then, Instagram wasn't a source of income for actors as is the case now. She added further how she does not have a concrete project even now but she does earn from music videos, collaborations, and other things.
She mentioned how she was alone in Mumbai and there was a gap of 9 months between the two shows, and she stayed in her shell, worked on herself, learned belly dancing, but it was those 9 months that she spent when she realised that this period of no money, no friends, and no work, is a time she does not want to relive ever again. And well, she sure has been climbing a ladder that keeps going up after all!
Meanwhile, the actress recently made an appearance in Bigg Boss OTT and she managed to create quite the vibe inside the house during her time as a guest on the show. Her music video Do Ghoont has been doing well, and she was last seen in a full-fledged acting project on the Zee5 series Jamai 2.0.
