Naagin 4 is just around the corner and fans are absolutely excited to watch Bhagya Ka Zehreela Khel. Starring Nia Sharma, Vijayendra Kumeria and Jasmin Bhasin, the fourth installment is coming soon. The first few teasers and promos are out and look promising.
We got in touch with Nia, who exclusively spoke to us about Naagin 4 and more.
A lot of names were speculated for the role of Naagin in the show and finally Ekta introduced you. How’s the feeling?
Yes, I heard that a lot of names were doing the rounds but I guess me and Jasmin passed the test and here we are, as Naagins. There couldn’t have been a bigger opportunity than Naagin for me. I genuinely feel happy and blessed to be a part of this show.
The promos of the show look quite interesting and promising. What kind of reactions have you received from family, friends and fans?
All the actors from the previous seasons of Naagin happen to be my friends, be it Anita (Hassanandani), Surbhi Jyoti, Karishma Tanna and they have spoken very kind words to me and wished me luck. Surprisingly I met Ankita Lokhande recently and she had such nice things to say for me and I got really inspired by her. She said that Balaji is huge and when you will flourish a lot when you earn doing a Balaji show, just given your 100 percent to the show and keep doing the hard work. I felt really inspired by her words. Even Mouni wished me luck for the role. It is important for me to get positive reviews from them.
Naagin is already a successful franchise, do you feel any kind of pressure?
I don’t know why people think we feel pressurized. I don’t have any pressure on me, I think the channel and the makers have more pressure to outdo their own work. I, as an actor will give my 100 percent to my job and beyond that, TRP and success depends on various factors which is least of my concern and indeed should not reflect in my performance. I will just do my work sincerely.
Naagin has always been a popular show among fans yet the content of the show is memed all over the internet by users. Any comments on that?
Yes, I have also seen the memes and I have laughed on it and all of us do. It’s funny and we’re having fun and why not do something fun, quirky and out of the box. Surbhi, Anita and I, we all used to laugh on their memes and we take it sportingly.
